How is Kundalini yoga different from other forms of yoga and what are the benefits?

All yoga traditions mean union with the divine and with truth. Many yoga traditions have a lot of emphasis on just the physical movements of yoga and less focus, if any, on breathing exercises or pranayama, chanting and meditation. Whereas, Kundalini Yoga is an integrative holistic yogic system that combines yoga postures, breathing/ pranayama, meditation and chanting to help you realize your highest potentials. The main goal of Kundalini yoga is that it helps us connect with our true selves & realize our dharma or our highest purpose.  

Some benefits of Kundalini yoga are as follows: activates the glandular system, strengthens the nervous system, expands the lungs capacity, purifies the bloodstream, cleanses all the organs & tissues, elevates your consciousness and moods, helps with insomnia, depression, indigestion, boosts metabolism and releases stress and anxiety.

What benefits will I receive from the signature program?

You will learn healthy self-care habits to transform your life through the ancient practices of Yoga and Ayurveda to fall in love with yourself.

We will dive deeply into Yoga and Ayurveda by learning one powerful self-care habit a week, so that you can shift from surviving to thriving in your life. Each habit can transform your health and life from the inside out. Additionally, the program will help you attain the benefits that I listed above and/or help you achieve your health goals.

This program is for you if you want to evolve your health with a group of other people who are committed to transforming themselves.  This program is also for you if you want a tribe of like-minded folks who can support you on your health journey.

What do I do if i have to miss one of the Ayurveda 12-week classes?

All classes will be recorded, so you can watch the recording. If you purchase an annual pass, though, you will have the opportunity to review the week you missed since the annual pass will repeat the 10 healthy habits of yoga and Ayurveda to transform your health and life.

What are the benefits of group yoga classes?

Group yoga classes are a wonderful way to learn yoga and/or deepen and improve your current yoga practice in a community of like-minded people who are also committed to upleveling their health. Attending a group yoga class is a great way to have the support of others motivated by health and wellness.

It can be hard to motivate yourself to do a regular practice on your own and having the support of a group and a teacher will carry you through during tough times.  They are also an excellent way to build and expand your community. Lets face it, we can’t do this thing called “life” alone.

What are the benefits of private yoga?

The intention of a 1 on 1 yoga session is for someone that is completely new to yoga and/or prefers to have focused individualized attention from a teacher in order to reach their health goals. It’s also normal to want to have a private session to improve or deepen your yoga practice as well as if you have an injury or health challenge that you feel would be challenging to resolve in a yoga class.

Sometimes yoga students may sign up for a 1 on 1 yoga package and do this concurrently with a class to have the best of both worlds. I offer packages only for 1 on 1 sessions because I believe that in order to meet your health goals that it takes commitment and the gift of investing in yourself. Health is wealth and you’re worth it!!

What are the benefits of  1 on 1 acupressure sessions?

Having a 1 on 1 acupressure session is beneficial because it works on balancing your specific health challenge. Acupressure can help you overcome the following health challenges:

Can I sign up for just one Jin Shin Jyutsu or Acupressure energy healing session and not a package?

Packages are recommended because most health conditions have a compound effect and my goal is to get to the root cause of your imbalance. However, you can still sign up for one session to get a feel for either energy healing modality.

Can I receive a combination of both Acupressure and Jin Shin Jyutsu energy healing modalities in one session?

Yes, absolutely, and I would recommend this because both modalities are rich in their healing properties and by combining them, this creates powerful healing results that will leave you feeling rejuvenated and enlivened.

What is the difference between Jin Shin Jyutsu and Acupressure?

The main differences are that Jin Shin Jyutsu is from Japan and the focus is on 26 Safety Energy Locks (energy healing points) and Acupressure comes from China and focuses on hundreds of acupressure points that come from Chinese medicine and are also used in Acupuncture. However, the goal of restoring harmony and vitality to one’s health is the same for both healing modalities.

What is the difference between the 1 on 1 Ayurveda Program and the Group Signature Program?

Both programs are for you if you want to fully step into your power & feel enlivened & energized by life again! It is for you if you would like to make empowering & healthy choices about your food that support your unique constitution.

The main difference are as follows:

The 1 on 1 program called “Radiant You” is an awesome way to get in depth 1 on 1 support and truly create and design healthy ayurvedic and yogic habits, a diet and nutritional plan, and lifestyle habits that you’ve been longing for.  

The 12 week program is for you if you want to evolve your health with a group of other people who are committed to transforming themselves.  This program is also for you if you want a tribe of like-minded folks who can support you on your health journey.
